The piece
The 13 Year PFK Varsity was the centrepiece of the anniversary drop and this is the all-black version. Chenille badges on the chest and sleeve, the 13YR marking, snap front, ribbed trims. It is the jacket you buy once and keep.
Spot clean the chenille badges rather than machine washing the jacket. The badges are the first thing to go in a wash.
Warmth and fit
A varsity is a mid-weight jacket: fully lined, no padding. Comfortable from about 10 degrees up on its own, lower with a hoodie underneath.
Varsities are cut boxy through the body with a ribbed hem that holds them at the hip. Usual size for the classic fit; one up if you want it loose over a hoodie. Flat chest, length, hem and sleeve measurements for every size are on the size guide.
Wearing it
Over the Play For Keeps 13 Year hoodie in Navy/Red it is the full anniversary set. On its own, black Pennant pants and a white tee is enough; the badges are the detail.
Looking at something lighter or heavier? The 13YR Varsity in Black/Cream is the next step either way.
